George McCarron, aged 67 years, one of the most prominent citizens in this community, died Monday (Jun. 12, 1899) of pneumonia Deceased was born in Bellfast, Ireland, and came to this city in 1864. Ten children survive – H. P., James, John, Rose, George, Daniel, Lizzie, Edward, Maggie and Mrs. Kate DeTemple. Interment took place Wednesday morning in the Catholic cemetery.
