Martha Jane Siudak, 90, of Madeline St. New Cumberland, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at Weirton Medical Center.
She was born April 9, 1917 in New Cumberland, a daughter of the late Alfred P. and Estella B. (Homan) Carey Godwin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Siudak, Sr., a brother, Thomas Godwin and six sisters, Pauline Brant, Blanche Swain, Lela VanDyke, Margaret Houser, Eunice Haislet and Vernice Ferguson.
Martha was Methodist by faith and a homemaker.
She is survived 3 sons, Joseph John Siudak, Jr. and Robert Paul Siudak, both of Follansbee and James Walter Siudak of New Cumberland; 3 daughters, Patricia Ann Medvitz and Thelma Jean Schneider, both of Cleveland and Beverly Sue Allison of New Cumberland; a sister, Roberta Skowronsky of Toronto,16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received a the Turley Funeral Home on Thursday, march 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Staub officiating. Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
