LISBON – Marjorie R. Johnston, 79, of Thomas Road, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 5, 1924, in Carroll County, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Yealey Detchon.
She was a homemaker and a member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford W. Johnston; a daughter, Lynne Andrews of Lisbon; a brother, Harry Detchon of Florida; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Rev. Mark Wilds conducted private funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. Burial in Woodland Cemetery in Salineville.
Private visitation was held Monday.
