PALM HAROR, Fla., -- Anna Frances Karaffa, 87, formerly of Toronto, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at the Palm Garden of Clearwater, Fla.
She was born in Stratton, Ohio, Sept. 11, 1915, a daughter of the late Stephen and Susan Demko Uhrinek
She was a retired cook for the Lincoln Elementary School of the Toronto School System and a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Toronto.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Karaffa.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Frances) Sherowski of Blacklick, Ohio, and Mildred Karaffa of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Joseph Uhrinek and Andrew Uhrinek of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Elizabeth Olesky of Wellsville; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Monsignor Kurt Kemo will be celebrant at a Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church on North River Avenue. Burial in Toronto Union Cemetery.
The Clarke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
