LISBON – Henry Leonard Diville died Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at his home at 287 West Chestnut st., following an illness of complications. He had been in failing health for the past year. He was 67.
Mr. Diville was born in Hanover township Sept. 18, 1876, and resided in Lisbon for the last 20 years. He was employed as a night watchman at the R. Thomas and Sons plant here. He was a member of St. George’s Catholic church.
Mr. Diville leaves his widow, Mrs. Rebecca Libus Diville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wehner of Chester and Mrs. Margaret Speidel of Canton, and two brothers, William Diville of Winona and Charles Diville of Canton.
The body was taken to the Maple funeral home in Kensington and will be returned to the late home on Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. George3’s church by Rev. FR. Paul McNally. Burial will be in St. Paul’s cemetery at Dungannon.
