LISBON – James Leslie Robinson, 62, potter and father of nine children, died at the family home in Pleasant Heights here Saturday at 5:45 p.m. after several months illness from complications.
He was born July 11, 1881, at Pennsboro, W. Va., a son of Orin H. Robinson and Amanda G. Robinson, and was a resident here the past 27 years. He was a member of the Church of God, and of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carl Cusick of Burgettstown, Miss Florence Robinson of Alliance, Vallie Robinson and Alice Robinson in the home, five sons, Pvt. James Robinson Jr. of Camp McCain, Miss., Harry Robinson, George Robinson, Orin Robinson and Clyde Robinson, all of the home; a sister, Mrs. Bertha French of New Castle, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held from the Eells funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 1 by Rev. Sherwood Weeks, pastor of the Church of God. Burial will be in the Lisbon cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
