Mrs. Annie Coolidge Mear, 403 Jackson St., died today at 5:15 a.m. at the Fox Nursing Home in Chester following an illness of three years. She was 83.
Born April 30, 1875, at Sewickley, she was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church and its Amity Class. Her husband, Jay Martin Mear, died in July 1932.
She is survived by a son, James Frederick Mear, of Martins Ferry, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. a the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Beighley of the Calvary Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday night and Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
