Ruth Mildred Cain, 85, of Hookstown, PA, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born November 19, 1923, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Urilda (Jacobs) Reed.
She was the loving and devoted wife of Gail Alton Cain, whom she married August 28, 1954, and was a kind and loving mother to their daughters, Debra Gail Cain and Kathy (Cain) Laurenza of Hookstown.
In addition to her husband and daughters, she is survived by a brother, William Reed, and his wife Doris, White Township; a sister-in-law, Betty Cain, Georgetown, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the CAMPBELL'S CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME, 2618 Darlington Road, www.campbellfuneralhomes.com, where a funeral service will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Wilmer Olszewski officiating.
Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
