LONGVILLE, La. – Services will be held Monday for Willard L. “Les” Booth, 78, formerly of Newell, who died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Alexandria Veterans Hospital in Alexandria. La.
He was a professional musician in Nashville, performing with many well-known acts including Hank Williams Sr. and Elvis Presley. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Longville.
He is survived by a brother, Ben Booth of Newell.
The Rev. Stuart Graves will conduct the services at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Barrentine Cemetery in Longville.
Friends may call from 2:30 to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church.
The Labby Memorial Funeral Homes, Inc., 2110 Highway 171 South, DeRidder, La. 70634, is in charge of arrangements.
