RHODES, RUTH ELAINE, 64, of Eldersville Road, Follansbee, WV, died Saturday, November 10, 2001, at home. She was born March 20, 1937, daughter of the late Frank and Eliza Richmond Bilby. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Bilby; and a sister, Wanda Bilby. She was a homemaker; a member of Weirton First Church of Nazarene, Colliers Way, Weirton; she attended the Victoryside Church of the Nazarene, St. Petersburg, FL. She was a member of the Missionary Board, a former Sunday School Teacher, choir member, the Community Education Organization and a delegate to the State District Assembly for the Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her husband, David Roy Rhodes, whom she married on December 20, 1957; two sons, Roy T. Rhodes and his wife, Deborah, of Carrollton, Texas and Daniel F. Rhodes of Arlinton, Texas; two daughters, Faith R. Tennent and her husband, David, of Bowie, MD, and Grance R. D’Esterre and her husband, Guy, of Shamong, NJ; a sister-in-law, Mary Whitley of Springfield, VA; an aunt, Ruth Stockman of Oakland, MD; four grandchildren, Sarah E. Tennent, Alexander D’Esterre, Julia D’Esterre and Danielle Rhodes. Arrangem,ents made by James Funeral Home, Main Street, Follansbee, WV. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Colliers, WV
