McKinley L. Birch died early this morning in his home, 157 Thompson Ave., following a several months’ illness. He was 55.
Mr. Birch was born near Calcutta, a son of Elmer E. Birch and Georgianna Birch. He spent virtually his lifetime in East Liverpool and was employed last by his brother, Ray Birch, in the automobile service business.
He was a member of the Orchard Grove Community Methodist Church, and the Masonic lodge in Philadelphia.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Birch and his father in East Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. Roy Vaughn of Mansfield, and five brothers, Albert D. Birch, Ray R. Birch, Earl E. Birch, Emil Birch and Kenneth Birch, all of East Liverpool.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Dawson Funeral Home by Rev. Philip Hinerman of the Boyce Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Tuesday night at the funeral home.
