Carol Ann Dean, 75, of New Cumberland passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at Trinity West in Steubenville.
She was born December 18, 1935 in New Cumberland a daughter of the late Earle Alexander & Ruth Ann (Milligan) Bell.
She is also preceded in death by her husband Ezra Norman “Dick” Dean.
Carol was a retired school teacher from New Cumberland Elementary, a graduate of Fairmont State College and a member of the First Presbyterian Church and an active member of PYA.
Surviving are her children, Daniel Dean of New Cumberland; Mary Elizabeth (Jeffery) Jones and Ruth Ann (Scott) Douglass both of Weirton; a brother, James A. (Lena)
Bell of Weirton and her granddaughter, Abigal Douglass.
Services were held at the New Cumberland First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frank Lewis officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Turley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
