Kristen Lynn Miller, 30, of Newell, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
Born August 4, 1980 in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Danny and Dyanna (Powers) Miller of Newell.
Kristen graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1999. She received a medical transcription degree at John D. Rockefeller Career Center and formerly worked at the Calcutta Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Hubert “Bud” Powers; paternal grandfather, Robert Frank Miller; paternal great-grandparents, Harold and Eleanora Miller.
Along with her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Michaela and a son, Daniel; a sister, Angela (Corey) Ginier of Chester; a niece Addisen; two nephews, Branden and Matthew; maternal grandmother, Ernestine Powers of Chester; paternal grandmother, Kay Lindesmith of Glenmore; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristen was deeply loved by her family, she never knew a stranger and lit up any room she entered. She will be sadly missed.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell.
Burial followed at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
