Joyce Cooper, 52, of Newell, passed away, Friday, February 23, 2011.
She was born on August 9, 1958 in Greenville, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Logan and Stella Payne Laughter.
She was a former cashier for Main Street Café.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by tow granddaughters, Lillianna and Rhianna.
Joyce is survived by her spouse, Robert Walker at home; a son, Christopher McCollum of Columbus; three daughters, Nikki Radford of North Carolina, Chrysta Cooper and Trista Cooper both of Columbus; a step-daughter, Emily Walker; a step-son, Joe Walker; twelve grandchildren; three brothers, Terry Laughter and Noah Laughter, both of North Carolina and Jerry Laughter of South Carolina; and a sister, Joanne Laughter of South Carolina.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell.
