YATER, DAVID ‘CARL’, 75, of Beech Bottom, Wellsbrug, WV., died Monday August 27, 2001, in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Alva “Barney” and Beatrice Kauffman Yater. He was a member of the Wellsburg Nazarene Church, and Brooke County Chapter AARP. Aside from his parents he is preceded in death by his wire, Katherine Williams Yater; two sisters, Faye Paugh, and Vera Yater. He is survived by a son, David C. Yater Jr and his wife Jan of Wellsburg; three daughters, Beverly Scott, Donna Green, both of Tiltonsville, Ohio, and Connie Miller and her husband Frank of Beech Bottom; two brothers, Louis “Butch” Yater and his wife Judy of York, PA, Gary “Buck” Green and his wife Ralphealia of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters, Mrs. Duane “Betty” Miller, Patricia Shepard, and Veloris “Ginger” Cook all of Wellsburg; nine grandchildren’; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Interment in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
