ECHOLS, MARION W. ‘BILL’, 87 OF Beech Bottom, WV, died Wednesday, August 29, 2001, in the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. He was born on February 26, 1914, in the Ohio County, WV, a son of the late Frank and Anna Jane Terrill Echols. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine E. Echols on February 7, 1998; a brother Morton Echols; and two sisters, Margaret Kirkman and Evelyn Fogle. Bill retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, where he worked for 42 years as an Armature Winder. He was a member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church since 1924. Surviving are a son, Thomas D. Echols and his wife, Rebecca of Princeton, WV; several nieces and nephews, among them a special niece, Jane Mallory of Wellsburg; and a special nephew, Victor Echols of Belle Vernon, .Arrangements made by Chambers Funeral Home, Main Street, Wellsburg, WV. Interment will follow in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
