BUSATTI HIRAM, 75, of Follansbee, WV, died August 29, 2001, in the Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling WV. He was born on October 8, 1923, in Virginville, WV a son of the late Andrew and Angelina Petrilean Busatti. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Busatti on December, 18, 1999; and two brothers, Rudolph and Alvin Zambarda. He was retired from Local 495 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Follansbee; the Knights of Columbus; and a veteran of the Marines during World War II. Surviving are three sons, Andrew Busatti and his wife, Jenny of Wintersville, OH, Robert Busatti of Divide, CO and David Busatti and his wife, Kristi of Jupiter, FL; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Diehl and her husband, Bradford of Nashville, Tn; a brother, Earnest Zambarda of Asheboro, NC; three sisters, Edith Brandl of Pittsburgh, PA, Jean Miller of Bayonet Point, FL and Mary Volpe of Cokeburg, PA; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements made by James Funeral Home, Main Street, Follansbee, WV. Entombment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Weirton, WV. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
