DAVIS, EARL, 74, of Fontana, CA, formerly of Follansbee, WV, died August 23, 2001, in Victorville, CA. He was born on March 25, 1922, in Follansbee, WV. Mr. Davis was an assistant coach for the 19545 State Championship football team at Follansbee High School, where he was a 1944 graduate also. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Yvonne; two sons, Sam of Lake Mathews, CA and Jeff of Vista, CA; a daughter, Lisa of Victorville; and eight grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Follansbee United Presbyterian Church.
