TORONTO – Harry L. Smith, 77, of Outer Dr., a former resident of Irondale, died Tuesday at 5 p.m. at home following an apparent heart attack.
A native of Wheeling, Mr. Smith was born May 16, 1889, a son of the late James Smith and Mary Hartman Smith. He was a retired mixer in the paint shop of the Hancock Manufacturing Co., at Toronto. He was a member of the Toronto First Methodist Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eddie (Mary) Hinch of Toronto, a son, Donald V. Smith of Knoxville: a brother, Gordon Smith of Whittier, Calif.: a sister, Mrs. James Cox of Toronto., and one grandchild.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home here by the Rev. Howard Crabtree. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Wellsville.
Friends may call today at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to9 p.m.
