Anew Cumberland – Services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Fields Funeral Home here for John peter Bailey, 88, formerly of New Cumberland. He died Sunday at 1:15 p.m. at the Fox Nursing Home in Chester and had been ailing for some time.
Mr. Bailey was born in New Cumberland Jan. 4, 1885, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Wolfe Bailey.
Survivors include nephews and nieces.
The Rev. Allen S. Fields will conduct the Tuesday services. Burial will be in New Cumberland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
