TORONTO – Mrs. Bernice C. Motter, 95, of N. Fifth Street died Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Carriage Inn in Steubenville following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Randolph County, W. Va., Feb. 26, 1892, a daughter of the late Jehu C. Caplinger and Ida W. Harding Caplinger.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarksburg, W. Va.
Her husband, H. Earle Motter, died in 1955.
Survivors include a son, Richard H. Motter of Toronto; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled Thursday at the John W. Lohr Funeral Home in Elkins, W. Va. Burial is to be in Fraternal Cemetery in Belington, W. Va.
Friends may call at the Clarke Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Lohr Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
