WELLSBURG – Thomas L. Cawthon, 52, 2222 Marianna ST., Wellsburg, died in the Weirton Medical Center Sunday.
Born Oct. 17, 1926, in Follansbee, he was the son of the late Stephen and Hazel Bucy Cawthon.
He was an employee of Weirton /Steel Division, a Navy veteran and a member of the Wellsburg Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanora Forsbach Cawthon; a daughter, Mrs. Vicky Miller, Clarkston, Wash.; three sons, Tim of Helleronton, Pa., Phillip of Wellsburg, and Tommy of N. Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma McDonald, Pine Bluff, Ark., and Mrs. Roy Smith, Wellsburg; a brother, Stephen Fr. Of Follansbee; seven grandchildren.
Friends may call 7-9 Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. S. William Shannon officiating. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Masonic graveside services.
