Services are scheduled Tuesday for Mrs. Mabel Bryan, 73, of E. Pershing Street, Salem, formerly of the Grandview area in Chester, who died Saturday at 11:45 a.m. at Salem Community Hospital of natural causes.
She was born in East Liverpool April 27, 1914, a daughter of the late Carl Ervin and Adeline Bowersock Ervin.
She and her husband had owned and operated the Bryan Farms near Chester for many years. She was a former member of the Chester First Christian Church.
Her husband, Samuel C. Bryan Sr., whom she married Nov. 5, 1935, died July 4, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Samuel C. Bryan Fr. Of Chester and Carl E. Bryan of Salem; a brother, Bernard Ervin of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
Minister Dennis Arnold of the New Manchester Christian Church is to conduct the services at 11 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial is to be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel this afternoon and evening.
