BEAVER – Evelyn Cronin Barnes, 90, of the Franciscan Manor, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at the Beaver Medical Center.
She was born February 25, 1910, in St. Marys, W. Va., a daughter of the late Ben K. and Alma Seckman Cronin.
She was a retired sales clerk and also at one time worked at the Homer Laughlin China Co. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne F. Barnes.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Grace) Behm of Freedom, and Mrs. David (Darlene) Dougherty of Rochester; a sister Loraine Staggers of Chester; one brother, Edward W. Cronin of Midland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Davis jr. of the church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
