GEORGETWON, Pa. - James A. Whitehill, 78, of Whitehill Road died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000 at Fox Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Geogtetown July 2, 1922, a son of the late Thomas E. and Clara Cameron Whitehill.
He was a retired dairy farmer and was a member of the Community Bible Church in Aliquippa, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, M. Jean Pail Whitehill at home; three sons, Alvin D. Whitehill of Georgetown, James D. Whitehill o f Longwood, Fla., and Thomas J. Whitehill of Quarryville, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. John (Brenda) Petkunas of Georgetown and Mrs. Joseph (Bonnie) Genre of Weirton; two sisters, Zula Whitehill of New Cumberland and Eleanor Whitehill of Sarasota, Fla,; eight grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
The Revs. Robert Kern and Paul Treese will conduct services at 11 a.m. Firday at the Church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. In Georgetown
Friends may call at the Arner Funeral Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the service at the church Friday.
