EAST PALESTINE – Services will be held Wednesday for Robert W. “Wheezer” McGraw, 84, of East North Avenue who died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at Salem Community Hospital, where he had been hospitalized.
He was born in East Palestine April 21, 1916, a son of the late Robert W. and Mary Diane Robinson McGraw.
He worked at local potteries and retired form the former Morris Golden Dawn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Longanecker McGraw.
He is survived by two sons, Robert A. McGraw of Frazeyburg, Ohio and Michael L. McGraw of East Palestine; a stepson, Ralph Carson of New Springfield; two daughters, Vicki Shell of Columbiana and Deborah S. Bango of Memphis, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Gary Sloan of the Abundant Life Fellowship will conduct services at 11 a.m. at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from7 to 9 tonight.
