BEAVER FALLS – Stella Ludwig, 96, of Darlington Road, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000,, at the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center where she had been a patient.
She was born in Adena, Ohio, Jan. 1, 1904, a daughter of the late Matrusz and Rose Gadomski Laszcz.
She was a member of he Chippewa United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Ludwig; a son, Samuel Ludwig; and her stepfather, Clarence J. Shinsky.
She is survived by a son, Robert Ludwig of Deer River, Minn.; two daughters, Jean Jewell of East Palestine and Ruth Crawford of Southern Pines, N.C.; two brothers, Louis Shinsky of Ellport, Pa., and Andrew Shinsky of Portersville, Pa.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home in East Palestine.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the services.
