EAST LIVERPOOL – Helen Vannoy Pusey, 82, of Manor Lane died at 12:17 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in East Liverpool Aug. 8, 1918, a daughter of the late Glenn J.and Nellie Dugan Vannoy.
A lifelong resident here, she was employed 23 years in the medical office of the late Dr. Alexander S. Fisher. before retirement. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School with the Class of 1936. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Her husband, William C. Pusey, died in 1980. She also was preceded in death by a son, Peter J. Pusey in 1963; a brother GlennJ. Vannoy in 1998; and a sister, Dorothy Rickard in 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Elwood T. Pusey and his wife, Sandra, of Irwindale, Calif., and William C. Pusey of East Liverpool; a sister, Jo-Ann Vannoy of East Liverpool; two grandchildren, Cassandra Morales and Erika Pusey of Irwindale; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Morales and David Morales of Irwindale.
The Rev. Charles Perry, chaplain at City Hospital, will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
