J. K. Barrett – Obituary

J. Kenneth Barrett, 67, of Duke-Vodrey Rd., died Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Extended Care Center here following an illness of several years.
Mr. Barrett was born Oct. 2, 1910, in Pittsburgh, a son of John Barrett and Emma Elliott Barrett.
He was retired in 1969 as a warehouseman at the Homer Laughlin China Co. because of poor health. He was a former member of the IBPAW.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Esther Finney Barrett, whom he married Oct. 18, 1933, in Beaver, Pa., survivors include a son, Jerry Barrett of East Liverpool, a daughter, Mrs. James (Nancy) Nance of Lakewood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Swift of New Manchester and Ellen Padgett of East Liverpool, and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul George of the Boyce United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and night.
