William L. Goodlin Obituary

William “Bill” Goodlin

William L. “Bill” Goodlin, 55, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at UPMC in Pittsburgh
Son of the late Kenneth and Norma Jean Goodlin, he was born in Rochester, PA on June 121, 1955.
Bill attended Oak Glen High School and worked at the former New Castle Refractories in Newell.
He enjoyed coaching baseball, hunting, and fishing and was a Pittsburgh sports fanatic!
Bill is survived at home by his wife, Debbie Goodlin, whom he married July 20, 1979; four sons, Terry Goodlin, of VA, Billy (Kayla) Goodlin, Brian Goodlin and companion Jossalyn Shaw, and Luke Goodlin, all of Chester; one daughter, Jolie Goodlin, of WY; three brothers, Kenneth Goodlin of East Liverpool, David Goodlin, of NC and Scott Goodlin, of Chester as well as grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Anda, Eric, McKayla, Kholton, Paisleigh, and was looking forward to the arrival of granddaughter, Alexa, later this month.
Bill will be missed by his beloved dogs, Cooper and Bear.
Rev. Phil Fairchild, of the First Christian Church of Chester, conducted services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Locust Hill cemetery.
