Funeral of Alfred W. Mader
Will Be Held Saturday
Alfred W. Mader, 70, of 846 Neptune ave., Chester, former contractor, died today at 3:30 a. m. in City hospital following a week's illness of pneumonia.
Mr. Mader resided in Chester for about 40 years. He was employed as a carpenter for the Edwin M. Knowles China Co.
He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and St. Matthew's Episcopal church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mabel Mader; his son, Howard Mader, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Putnam of East Liverpool, Mrs. Mabel Conkle of Aliquippa, and Miss Katherine Mader of Chester, and one brother, Frank Mader, also of Chester.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. in the late home by Rev. A. ?adretta, rector of St. Matthew's church. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery in East Liverpool.
The body will be returned Thursday afternoon from the Stewart funeral home to the late home where friends may call.
