FORMER SCHOOL HEAD
AT MIDLAND CLAIMED

Midland, Dec. 26 - Services will be held Thursday afternoon from the Robinson funeral home in Indiana, Pa. for Dr. Harry V. Herlinger, former superintendent of Midland schools who died Sunday in Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh, after a long illness. He was 63.
Dr. Herlinger headed Midland schools for about 10 years until becoming superintendent of Mt. Lebanon schools, the position he held when he died.
The body was in state today in the auditorium of the Andrew Mellon Junior High school until services this afternoon. The additional services tomorrow will precede burial in Indiana.
Survivors include his widow, two sons and three grandchildren.
