Virginia Heddleston

Graveside services are to be held for Mrs. Virginia B. Heddleston, 90, of the We Care Nursing Home at 11604 Rollercoaster Rd., Lisbon, retired East Liverpool school teacher, who died at 3:29 p.m. Sunday at City Hospital following a one-month illness.

She was born in Ohioville, Pa., May 23, 1895, a daughter of the late H. S. Todd and Ida Davidson Todd.

Mrs. Heddleston retired as a teacher with the East Liverpool Public Schools in 1964. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church and its Dorcas Circle, and had been a teacher of its Welcome Class several years. She also was a member of the Ohio State Retired Teachers Association.

Her husband, Frank Allen Heddleston, died in 1943.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Allene Bosworth of Lisbon; a son, David A. Heddleston of Glenmoor; a brother, Richard Todd of Midland; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The services are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Industry with the Rev. Wayne Standley of the Anderson United Methodist Church officiating.

Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home this evening.
