Salem -- Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Arbaugh - Pearce Funeral Home for Mrs. Eva Faris Cleland, 80 of 1882 Oak St. here. She died Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at the County Home near Lisbon after an illness of three years.
She was born Aug. 7, 1891, in Meigs County, Ohio, a daughter of David Circle and Anna Hurlow Circle. She operated a grocery store in Salem for 18 years and also had worked in the kitchen at Salem Community Hospital East. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the First Friends Church, both of Salem.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert Wilde of Columbiana and Mrs. James Mayhew of Salem; a son, Paul W. Cleland of Chicago; a brother, Jack Circle of Lisbon, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Harold Williams will officate at the Tuesday services. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
