NEW CUMBERLAND – Harry O. Carson, 54, farmer and retired oil and gas driller, died at his home in Carson Oil fields near here, Wednesday night following a heart attack. He had been ill for several months.
Mr. Carson was born in Hancock county and spent his life in this section. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Wilson Carson, and five children, Ethelberta, Iris, James, Robert and John, all at home; also one brother Frank of the Carson Oil field and one sister, Mrs. Harland Ramsey of Hookstown.
Funeral services will be held in the home Saturday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Samuel Spencer, pastor of the Point Pleasant Methodist Protestant church. Burial will be made in Mill Creek Cemetery.

NEW CUMBERLAND – Funeral services for Harry O. Carson, 54, who died in his home in the Carson Oil Fields, near here, Wednesday, will be held in the home at 2 p.m. Saturday.
