Mrs. Lillian B. Swearingen of Georgetown R. D. 1,
widow of J. P. Swearingen, died Friday at 8:30 pm at
City Hospital after a brief illness. She was 89.

She was born January 15, 1870 in Greene Twp, Beaver
County, and was a member of the Hookstown Presbyterian
Church.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Boyd of New
Brighton, Mrs. Joetta Dockter of Beaver Falls and Mrs.
Nina Moore of Georgtown, RD1 and five sons, Charles
Swearingen of Oakland, Calif., James Swearingen of
Beaver, Fred Swearingen of Brownsville, George
Swearingen at home and Joseph Swearingen of East
Liverpool, and 14 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 2:30pm at the Welch
Funeral Home at Hookstown by the Rev. Ellsworth
Crispens of the Newell Methodist Chruch. Burial will
be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
