James Pickens aged 17 years, died at 7 o’clock yesterday morning at the home of his parents in Oakland, East End. Death was due to typhoid fever. The young man had only been a resident of the city a month. His body was shipped to Arbuckle, Mason County, W. Va., last night on the steamer Kanawha.
