Wife of Irondale’s Mayor, Died Yesterday Morning
Mrs. Mattie White, wife of Mayor T. A. White, of Irondale, died at 10 a.m. yesterday, of Bright’s disease, aged 45 years. She had been ill for several years. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by five children, three boys and two girls.
The funeral will be held at 12:30 Wednesday from the First Methodist Episcopal church, Irondale, the Rev. Mr. Peck officiating. Interment will be made in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The deceased had been for a number of years an active worker in the Methodist church and had a host of admiring friends.
