William H. Jones
Follansbee - William H. Jones, retired Follansbee plumbing contractor and resident of 2842 Eldersville Road, died suddenly on Sunday at 7 p. m. at his home.
Born on February 16, 1884, in Ironton, Ohio, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Jones and came to Follansbee in 1914, establishing the Jones Plumbing business.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge of Follansbee, the Dokies lodge of Mingo and the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lorna Harms, at home, a son, Paul of Follansbee; a brother, Chester of Brilliant, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. May Echard of Mingo, and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the James Funeral home in Follansbee after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p. m. with Rev. John Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
