Thomas Woodward

SALINEVILLE – Thomas R. Woodward Sr., superintendent at the Allied Tile Co., at Zanesville, died Friday about 4:30 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville after a lengthy illness.
A World War II Navy veteran, he was born in Salineville, a son of the late George Woodward and Anna Powell Woodward. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church at Zanesville.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Woodward, at home; a son, Thomas R. Woodward Jr. of Parma; two brothers, James L. Woodward and George Woodward, both of Minerva; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Manning of Salineville, Mrs. Margaret Thayer of New Cumberland and Mrs. Mildred Draher of Gardenia, Calif, and two grandchildren
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patick’s Catholic Church here by Fr John P. Kennedy. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Manning Funeral home here Sunday afternoon and night.
