Mrs. Harriet T. Kitchel, aged 85 years, died Sunday, at the home of her son, F. D. Kitchel, Fifth street. Mrs. Kitchel was the widow of the late Rev. Dr. Kitchel, whose death occurred at Clifton Springs, N. Y., about three years ago. She had been a resident of this city for seventeen years. Five sons survive her – F. D. Kitchel, of this city; Cornelius, a professor at Yale college; Stanley, an attorney-at-law of Minneappils; Shelly, a minister at Bethlehem, Pa., and Farran. Funeral services at the residence were held Friday, and he remains taken to Detroit for burial.
