BOWERSTON, Ohio – Carl Edward Beagle, 83, formerly of New Matamoras, Ohio, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at Sunnyslope Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 26, 1922, in New Matamoras, a son of he late Oda and Josephine Hudkins Beagle.
He was employed as a roller operator at Crucible Steel Corp. in Midland, a member of the East Liverpool Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Mae Conley beagle and a son, Carl E. Beagle Jr.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara McIntyre of Scio, Ohio and Deborah Marzlug of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; four brothers, Cecil Beagle and Harold Beagle of New Matamoras and Glenn Beagle and Perry Beagle of East Liverpool; a sister, Dorothy Blatt of Baden City; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Will Montgomery and Bobby Bradford will conduct the service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hadley Funeral Home in New Matamoras. Burial will be in Matamoras Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
