NEW CUMBERLAND – Glenn E. Anderson, 72, RD 2, died Sunday morning at the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born May 27, 1908, in Zalea, Hancock County, a son of the late Frank and Etta Hamilton Anderson.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Carol Lynn Anderson, Jan. 26, 1978.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Carol Ann) Lyons of New Cumberland; stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank (Suzy) Densworth of Northville, Mich.; a stepson, Mel S. Lewis of Charlotte, N. C.; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Ruckle McCracken of Essex, Md.; two brothers, William V. of Weirton and Emory of New Cumberland; and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Turley Funeral Home, 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with James Haddox and Ron Stanley officiating. Interment in New Cumberland Cemetery.
