WEIRTON – Paul Jellots, 70, 216 Market St., died Saturday evening enroute to the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 2, 1910, in Monongah, W. Va., a son of the late Nick and ?Rose Jellots.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Billcheck Jellots in September, 1980.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, retired employee of the Steel Works Department, Weirton Steel Division with 39 years service, member of the 25-year Club and the Senior Bowling League.
Surviving are one son, Donald Jellots of Weirton; one daughter, Mrs. John (Esther) Solomon of Weirton’ two brother, Pete of Greenville, Pa. and Andrew of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rosier of Canonsburg, Pa. and Mrs. Helen Robinson of Wheeling; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, where final blessing service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday and Divine Liturgy of Requiem at 9:co a.m. in St. Mary’s Church with Msgr. Andrew Pataki as celebrant. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Rosary devotions by the Knights of Columbus at 7 p.m. Wednesday followed by Parastas service at 8 p.m.
