WELLSBURG, W.Va. – Jimmie Winfield Welch, 64, of Wellsburg died Sunday, Nov. 28, at Wheeling Medical Park.
He was bon on June 15, 1940 in Madison, Fla., a son of the late Tebo ad Jennie Ward Welch. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Carroll Welch.
Jimmie was a retired long-wall miner with Windsor Coal Company; an Army veteran and Methodist by faith.
Surviving are his wife of eight years, Hattie Moore Welch at home; two daughters, Kara Bialk and her husband, Joe of Mainville, Ohio and Edie Pizzuti of Steubenville, Ohio’ one son, James Pizzuti Jr. and his wife, Holly of Calcutta, Ohio; one brother, Homer Welch and his wife, Gale of North East, Md.; one sister, betty june Minden and her husband, Don of Las Cruces, N.M.
