STEUBENVILLE – James Raymond Koch, 68, RD 1, Lee Ride Road, died Sunday at Ohio Valley Hospital.
He was born Jan. 22, 1903, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and a Methodist.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Fletcher Koch; two sons, William of Richmond and Charles of Weirton; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (JoAnn) Saltsman and Mrs. Frank (Jesse) Marcino, both of Steubenville, Mrs. Frank (Laura) Schaffer of Berholz and Mrs. Kenneth (Rebecca) Miller of Toronto; a foster-daughter, Mrs. Oliver (Joy) Beagle of Steubenville; a sister, Virginia Furgson of Steubenville; 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at McClave-Chandler-Mills Funeral Home, Steubenville, 7-9 p.m. Today, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. D. Scott George officiating. Interment in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
