Herman Simpson, 1815 Nevada St., Wellsville, died Thursday at 5 p.m. in City Hospital, following a two-month illness.
Mr. Simpson was a lifetime resident of Wellsville. He was a night-watchman for the Sterling China Co, until he retired Dec. 26, when he became ill.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Ruby Simpson; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Frazer of Wellsville; a son, Charles D. Simpson, of East Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Markaham of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Della Hunter of Youngstown, and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rites will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Haugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Lyman N. Lemmon, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday night at the funeral home.
