Richmond, Ohio – Lure Emma Miller, age 93, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, following a lengthy illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sycamore Tree United Methodist Church.
Lure was born May 1, 1912, in Helvitia, W.Va., a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Depoy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd R. Miller; a son Vernon Depoy; a daughter, Kay E. Greer; two brothers, Ray and John Depoy; and two sisters, Mary Zickefoose and Bessie Martingale.
Lure is survived by her son-in-law, William Greer and his wife Judy of Richmond; granddaughter, Tracie Sampson and her husband Scott of London, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Hulda Kelley of Marysville, Ohio. She is also survived by her extended family, Steve and Lynne Modranski of Steubenville, Ohio, Tim and Connie Meyer of Knoxville, Ohio, Ray and Leanna Arbogast of Follansbee, W.Va.: and Brenda and Jeff Wood of Richmond, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond, on Monday from 12 noon until time of services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Modranski officiating.
