SALINEVILLE – John A. Marshall, 62, of Bergholz, retired coal miner, died Thursday at his home after a long illness.
Born here Jan. 21, 1894, a son of Lindley and Mary Jane Tobin Marshall, he left Salineville about 45 years ago. He was married to Grace Peterson.
Besides his widow at home, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rosmary Fitch and Mrs. Dorothey Detchohn, both of Salineville and Mrs. Ruth Tarr at home; three sons, Clyde Marshall of Lousiville, Jack Marshall of Canton, and Roy Marshall of Bergholz; three brothers, , Ernest Marshall of Globe, Ariz., Lester Marshall of Cambridge, and Charles Marshall of Canton, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 at the Robbins Funeral Home at Bergholz by the Rev. Charles Hirst of the Uhrichsville Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Bergholz.
