John Thomas Salmon, aged 33 years, died Tuesday night (Apr. 4, 1899) of heart failure, at this hoe on Norton street, and was found lifeless in bed Wednesday morning. Mr. Salmon was a self-made man, coming here from England about nine years ago, penniless, but by his honesty and hard working qualities he secured a position as janitor at the Potter's bank, which he held until his death.

He was married after coming here to Miss Morris and one child, Sarah, resulted from this union.

Deceased was a member of Crockery Tent, 131, K. O.T. M., and Favorite Tent, 175, Rechabites.
